We announced the Green Schools’ Competition winners for year 2010! We awarded one first, two second and to third prizes! On June 10, the winners visited megalithic observatory of Kokino! Learn more on our Competition page!
By the end of the June, 2010, all Green Clubs submitted to us for approval green projects that would safe energy and water, promote environment friendly transportation habits and would improve waste management practices in the schools. Their projects will be financed by the Green Schools Programme of USAID and the municipalities! More news on the topic are upcoming!
The procurement of materials for implementation of Green Clubs project is underway! By the beginning of the new school year in September, schools will receive new energy efficient light bulbs, water saving faucets, curtains, trash cans, bike racks and much more! News on the topic are upcoming!
